How to Clear Browser Cache

For Windows

Chrome

  1. Click More More.
  2. Click More Tools > Clear browsing data.
  3. Set Time Range to All Time.
  4. Check Cached images and files.
  5. Uncheck everything else.
  6. Click Clear Data.
  7. Close all Chrome windows then re-open Chrome.

Firefox

  1. Click Menu Fx57Menu > Options.
  2. On the left, click Privacy & Security.
  3. In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear data….
  4. Check Cached Web Content.
  5. Uncheck everything else.
  6. Click Clear.
  7. Close all Firefox windows then re-open Firefox.

Internet Explorer

  1. Click Tools (via the Gear Icon) > Safety > Delete browsing history….
  2. Uncheck the top option, Preserve Favorites website data.
  3. Check Temporary Internet Files.
  4. Uncheck everything else underneath.
  5. Click Delete.
  6. Close all Internet Explorer windows then re-open Internet Explorer.
 

For macOS

Safari 10.0.1+ and later

  1. Open the Safari menu > Preferences.
  2. Click Privacy > Manage Website Data….
  3. Click Remove All.

Enable Developer Menu (only needed the first time)

  1. Open the Safari menu > Preferences.
  2. Click Advanced > check Show Develop Menu in Menu Bar.

Clear Cache

  1. Open the new Develop menu > Empty Caches.
  2. Quit Safari and re-open.

Chrome

  1. Click More More.
  2. Click More Tools > Clear Browsing Data.
  3. Set Time Range to All Time.
  4. Check Cached Images and Files.
  5. Uncheck everything else.
  6. Click Clear Data.
  7. Close all Chrome windows then re-open Chrome.
 

For Mobile

Android Chrome

  1. Open Chrome app.
  2. At the top right, tap More More > Settings.
  3. Tap Privacy.
  4. At the bottom, tap Clear Browsing Data.
  5. Tap the drop-down arrow and set Time Range to All Time.
  6. Check Cached Images and Files.
  7. Uncheck everything else.
  8. Tap Clear Data and tap again to confirm.
  9. Close all Chrome windows then re-open Chrome.

iOS Safari

  1. Open Settings app.
  2. Tap Safari.
  3. Tap Clear History and Website Data and tap again to confirm.
  4. Close all Safari windows then re-open Safari.

iOS Chrome

  1. Open Chrome app.
  2. At the top right, tap More More > Settings.
  3. Tap History > Clear Browsing Data.
  4. Check Cached Images and Files.
  5. Uncheck everything else.
  6. Tap Clear Browsing Data.
  7. Close all Chrome windows then re-open Chrome.
